About the Position

We are seeking an Endocrinologist for locum tenens coverage in Pennsylvania. This is a part-time opportunity offering 1–2 weeks of consistent coverage per month with a combination of outpatient endocrinology clinic and overnight/weekend call.

Overview

• 1–2 weeks per month of consistent coverage
• Outpatient clinic + inpatient/outpatient call
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level: II
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Sat-Sun weekend call, 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM; no clinic
• Providers see approximately 18–20 patients per day, depending on new vs. established patients
• Providers are responsible for reviewing test results and handling prescription refills, including when not onsite
• Approximately 10 calls per weeknight/weekend

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Endocrinology
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• DEA required
• ACLS and BLS required
• CSR not required
