Shuttle Driver

SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Facilities Operations Manager, the Shuttle Bus Driver is responsible for providing a safe transportation service to our passengers. The driver is required to adhere to the collection and drop-off points for each trip and be mindful of all driver and traffic safety regulations. This is a temporary, part-time role through the end of the academic year. This position is not benefits-eligible.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Arrive at collection points prior to scheduled departure times.Adhere to passenger limits, routes, and schedules.Avoid high-traffic and accident –prone routes.Ensure the shuttle is clean, fueled, and well-maintained.Observe all traffic regulations and safety laws.All other duties as assigned.SKILLS/ABILITIES:Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to communicate promptly and professionally regarding absences, tardiness, or scheduling conflicts.Hold Class B Commercial Bus Certification with a passenger endorsementMaintain an amicable and optimistic dispositionAbility to work flexible hours and to substitute for other drivers if necessaryEDUCATION:High School graduate or GEDEXPERIENCE:Clean driving recordAt least 1 year of previous experience transporting groups of peopleFirst Aid Training is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
