Senior Product Engineer - C++ (remote / US only) published at 15.07.2024 19:30 Location: US - Remote Company: EPX Remote support for this position: yes What you'll be doing: Translate business requirements and use cases into functional applications Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable products Review, test, and verify code for adherence to quality and security standards Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems Assist in the maintenance of code quality and organization Work with development team to define and implement architecture direction Assist in the design and enforce test-driven development using automated unit and integration testing Provide guidance, direction and technical support to team members What we need from you: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training 5+ years of experience analyzing, designing and implementing solutions using C++ 17 or higher Experience working with STL containers, RAII and Smart Pointers 5 years of experience in Linux 3+ years of experience working with RDBMs- Oracle preferred Experience with secure software development Experience with conducting code reviews Experience with high-availability online transaction processing Experience with defining and enforcing coding standards Experience with mentoring junior developers Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative and good judgment Ability to represent the company in a positive and professional manner Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote team-oriented work environment Salary Range: $89,000- $145,000 Paywithin this range varies by work locationand on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
