Ellicott City Healthcare Center is seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Admissions Director to lead our admissions and census development efforts. The Admissions Director serves as the primary point of contact for referral sources, hospitals, families, and prospective residents, ensuring a seamless admissions process while supporting the facility's growth and occupancy goals.

The ideal candidate is an organized professional with strong healthcare marketing, relationship-building, and customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced post-acute and long-term care environment.

• Manage all aspects of the admissions process from referral through admission.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and community partners.

• Respond promptly to referrals and evaluate admission eligibility.

• Coordinate admissions with nursing, clinical, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.

• Maintain accurate admission records and documentation.

• Monitor census goals and implement strategies to increase occupancy.

• Track referral activity and provide regular admissions and marketing reports.

• Represent the facility at community networking events and healthcare meetings.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility admission requirements.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of admissions, marketing, business development, or healthcare experience preferred.

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), rehabilitation, long-term care, or healthcare admissions experience strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare software systems.

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes preferred.

• Reliable transportation for community outreach and referral development.
