Industrial Quality Inspector

Tekberry is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Industrial Quality Inspector to support receiving, inspection, inventory control, shipping, quality verification, and material movement activities within a manufacturing and depot environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in quality inspection, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and ERP transactions while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase documentation
• Generate goods receipts and perform accurate data entry within ERP systems
• Manage quarantine inventory and communicate non-conforming material issues to appropriate stakeholders
• Store, rotate, consolidate, and maintain inventory locations within the depot
• Pick, pack, crate, and ship materials and products accurately and on schedule
• Perform quality audits of picked and packed orders to ensure shipment accuracy
• Operate forklifts and perform daily equipment inspections
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities
• Process inventory transactions, goods issues, transfer postings, and material movements
• Generate carrier labels and international shipping documentation
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments and ensure required documentation is complete
• Support customer service requests by locating and fulfilling material requirements
• Maintain shipping supply inventory and support special projects as assigned
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Must-Have Qualifications

• Associates Degree
• Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting
• Experience supporting receiving, inventory control, shipping, or material movement processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and depot environment
• Requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift
• Frequent interaction with inventory, shipping, receiving, and production personnel
• Exposure to warehouse and manufacturing operations
