Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: 2 years of OR RN experience License: Valid compact or state license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Experience with DaVinci Xi Robot and liver transplant Description: This is a variable shift position. The traveler will work days/evenings, 8s, 10s, or 12s. Call is required Monday to Friday from 2100 to 0630. Weekend call is required on Saturday and Sunday from 0630 to 1900 and from 1900 to 0630. Holiday/weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs. The candidate must have experience with the DaVinci Xi Robot and liver transplant. Experience in one of the following service lines is required: Neuro or Ortho. The traveler should have the ability to scrub. Level 1 trauma experience is required. Preferred experience includes ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns. Candidates must confirm experience with the following: Required: DaVinci Xi Robot experience Required: Liver transplant experience Preferred: Eyes experience Experience in Level 1 trauma centers is required. The daily census includes 45-50 surgical procedures per day. All jewelry or armbands must be removed from upper extremities prior to scrubbing. Special equipment experience is required in a Level 1 trauma operating room. The surgical procedures include General Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery. No coworker references accepted. The candidate must have completed education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
