Childcare Worker

Job Location: Central Operations - Dayton, OH 45459 Job Overview (Part-Time Position) Assist and support the Early Childhood Director by providing high quality childcare in the preschool and nursery setting to reach kids and empower families to Find Hope in Jesus Christ. Responsibilities and Duties Work with Early Childhood Director to ensure the safety and security of children in care Display a warm and welcoming attitude to families and children Follow and enforce Fairhaven Childcare policies and procedures so that all children are cared for in a healthy, safe and welcoming environment Lead age-appropriate, Bible-based curriculum provided by Director Care for children in an age-appropriate manner, including diapering, toileting, feeding, playing with, etc. Show the love of Jesus to children through play, reading, the provided lesson, etc. Clean and re-stock classroom at end of shift Arrive ready to welcome children into your care at the time assigned by Early Childhood Director Work as a team with other Childcare workers and Kids’ staff to provide a coordinated approach to the ministry Traits/Skills Teamwork: Offers assistance to others and promotes a cooperative and enjoyable environment Flexible: Willingness to change and adapt quickly Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a favorable outlook toward Fairhaven Church, its staff, members and one’s work Communication: Supports and actively participates in open, honest and respectful communication Learner: Willingness to learn new skills and processes as ministry needs dictate Qualifications Christian Maturity: a saving knowledge of and a growing relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ High School diploma or equivalent work, life or ministry experience Must be 16 years old #J-18808-Ljbffr Fairhaven Church The Christian And Missio
