This overnight role is ideal for experienced lab professionals who are passionate about high-quality diagnostic testing and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform moderate to high complexity clinical laboratory testing in accordance with CLIA, OSHA, CAP, and hospital standards. Ensure timely, accurate reporting of test results to support physician diagnosis and patient care. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers. Conduct and document quality control procedures to ensure test accuracy. Adhere strictly to laboratory protocols for specimen handling, test procedures, and equipment calibration. Collaborate effectively with pathologists, technologists, and other healthcare staff. Maintain accurate records, including test data, quality assurance documentation, and equipment maintenance logs. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field (Required). Certification: ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical lab experience preferred. Experience in a high-volume, hospital, or reference lab setting is a plus. Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations and quality control standards. Ability to work independently on third shift with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Additional Information: Location: Kyle, TX 78640 Schedule: Mon - Fri 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm (rotating weekends, will make up for days off during the week) Length: 24 Week Contract Pay Rate: $40 - $42.50/ Hour *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
