This role will be the primary category point of contact for supplier interactions, performance management, and negotiations for the site. In this role, you will work with partners to build comprehensive view of supplier performance for continued sourcing success.You will participate and/or lead in the development and implementation of category strategies and projects related but not limited to cost reduction initiatives, supply base optimization, and pricing/contract negotiation.ResponsibilitiesLead Site Supplier Performance and RelationshipsOwn procurement process for designated areas and accountsNegotiate with suppliers to meet business needsSupport capital budgeting and cash flow management, and the execution of Global Procurement strategiesHandle cost saving initiatives and metricImplement cost savings and process improvement programsHave deep knowledge to serve as a consultant for procurement process and supplier issues.Support site auditsMinimum Qualifications3+ years experience in strategic sourcing, quantity surveying and estimatingManage multiple large-scale projects (sourcing events) concurrently, ability to work with minimal supervision; strong project management skillsProficient in MS officeComfort around Senior Leaders and Executives, ability to create and deliver executive-level presentationsCandidate with prior experience in similar roles strongly preferredDemonstrated negotiation skillsProven strong problem-solving skillsPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact expertly with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter expertsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree or higherPMP certification or equivalent, preferredIntellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for process improvements, especially using AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.  The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$96,000.00 - $193,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
