Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in beautiful Gold Beach, Oregon. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive skills throughout the entire perioperative continuum, including Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU. This experience must be clearly detailed on the resume.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU settings.
• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, and ophthalmology.
• Manage cases involving endoscopies, pain injections, cataract surgeries, orthopedic procedures, and general surgical cases.
• Participate in variable on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in operating room nursing.
• Comfortable with EPIC electronic health records; previous travel experience is preferred.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• An active RN license in Oregon is mandatory at the time of submission.
• Preferred experience includes various surgical specializations; note that no C-sections are performed in this setting.

This position primarily operates during the day shift. Compliance with all onboarding requirements is essential and must be completed prior to the assignment start date.
