JOB SUMMARY
E.A.B. Fabrication, Inc. is hiring full-time experienced Mig Welders responsible for fitting and welding steel( must pass a weld test). This is a 1st shift position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Set up welding machines.
* Read and interpret drawing components.
* Complete all required QC related paperwork.
* MIG weld components based on drawing specifications.
* Set up welding cells for production runs.
* Operate welders, hand plasmas, torches, and grinders used in the production process.
* Follow weld line process per the supervisor.
* Keep work areas clean and organized.
* Properly care for all equipment, tools, and facilities.
* Follow all company policies and procedures.
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
* Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
* Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
* Prepare products for next stage of production.
* Uphold all applicable ISO and OSHA standards.
* Perform other miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisor.
* No ripped or frayed jeans allowed.
* Ensure tinted safety glasses are worn while welding.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
* Experience with steel and/or stainless steel.
* Experience with MIG welding (highly ).
* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
* Basic knowledge of fabricating, reading tapes, and print reading.
* Basic troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of changing out gas and weld wire.
* Ability to perform basic math.
* Reliable with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Ability to work 40+ hours a week.
