Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech (Sonographer) for a travel assignment at a high-volume radiology unit. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations including ABD, Pelvis, and DVT procedures.
Operate GE LOGIC E10 ultrasound equipment with proficiency.
Document findings accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure appropriate imaging protocols.
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months of current sonographer experience.
Active ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification required.
Current Colorado state license to practice as a sonographer.
BLS certification is mandatory.
Prior Meditech experience preferred.
Rad Tech experience is a plus.
