What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries in the CVOR unit
• Monitor and ensure patient safety during the surgical process
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and tech teams to deliver seamless care
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative care of CVOR patients
• Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular OR nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced environment
