Sales Representative

Precision Fire Solutions is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Sales Representative to join our West Columbia, SC branch. In this role, you’ll sell alarm system work, build lasting client relationships, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales and gross margin targets. You’ll prepare accurate, timely proposals for new installs and system upgrades, track them through our sales process, and follow up with customers within 48 hours to confirm receipt and answer questions — staying engaged until the proposal is approved. We’re looking for someone with a track record of building successful relationships with general contractors, property managers, and other decision-makers. The ideal candidate is confident, professional, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator — someone who excels at developing and maintaining lasting customer relationships. Build relationships with general contractors and potential customers to quote projects. Provide quotes via the customer's requested method. Follow up within 48 hours to confirm receipt of quote and answer questions. Track all quotes and set reminders to follow up based on customer decision timelines. Meet and/or exceed established company sales budget/quota. Cultivate relationships strong enough to drive a high capture rate and meet company-established gross profit margins. Position the company for "last look" status before customers make final decisions. Attend association and networking events, and get involved in member associations — including joining committees — to generate new business. Job Requirements A proven track record of sales excellence in the fire alarm industry is preferred. Candidates with a background in low-voltage systems, security, access control, CCTV, structured cabling, or related technologies are also encouraged to apply. Two to five years’ working knowledge of fire alarm systems. Comfortable and confident with cold outreach and prospecting new business. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that grow revenue. Willingness to travel within the local community as needed. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
