Analytics Scientist II
Catalent
Analytics Scientist II role at Catalent's Kansas City facility supporting analytical services for oral and specialty drug delivery. Position involves method development, laboratory testing, technical documentation, and supervision of analytical staff with direct customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute laboratory work plans and schedules aligned with customer milestones
- Perform analytical testing on samples using multiple techniques and prepare certificates of analysis
- Lead method development, validation, and technology transfer projects
- Author and review technical documents for regulatory compliance and accuracy
- Direct technical staff work assignments and provide laboratory technique training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life science or physical science discipline
- Proficiency with analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, and physical testing methods
- Ability to develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Data management, interpretation, and instrument troubleshooting capabilities
- Organizational skills with ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
