Pediatric Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist - $10,000 Sign On Bonus + Relocation Available This position provides physical therapy services to a pediatric population, ranging from neonate to adolescence. Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment using modalities such as exercise, heat, water, electricity, massage, light, and ultrasound. Position Duties Evaluate and treat patients with sensory‑motor and/or musculoskeletal disorders/delays, applying age‑appropriate exercise, heat, water, electricity, massage, light, and ultrasound modalities. Document services in compliance with Joint Commission and CARF standards, participating in Total Quality Management. Coordinate motor performance of patient care with other disciplines within the hospital and community resources, including discharge planning and patient/family teaching. Use pediatric‑based behavior management strategies and align interventions with the child’s age and disability. Establish appropriate treatment plans with age‑appropriate goals, timelines, and shared decision‑making with families. Build and maintain rapport within the department, hospital, and community, interacting professionally with physicians, families, and community personnel. Supervise and direct rehabilitation technicians and/or students, providing input into their performance evaluations. Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as requested. Position Qualifications Education: BA or higher degree from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (Required). Experience: Pediatric physical therapy experience (Preferred). Special Skills: Pediatric orthopedics and/or neuro or child development (Preferred). Additional Requirements: Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy license prior to start date (Required). AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card prior to start date (Required). BLS certification from the American Heart Association prior to start date (Required).
