Valley Dental Works is hiring a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Happy Valley, Oregon , conveniently located just minutes from SE Portland . Our practice is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused hygienist who is passionate about preventative care and helping patients achieve long-term oral health.

Dental Hygienist Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings including scaling and polishing

• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventative dental care

• Take and process dental X-rays as needed

• Assist with periodontal charting and collaborate with the dentist on treatment planning

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness

• Stay current on dental hygiene techniques, technology, and best practices

Dental Hygienist Qualifications

• Active Oregon Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and terminology

• Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dental team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Previous dental office experience preferred but not required
