Job Description

Are you in Sioux Falls or interested in moving to Siouxfalls? A well-established equipment company is looking to add two experienced Heavy Equipment / Diesel Technicians to their growing team. These openings are due to an internal promotion and an upcoming relocation, creating excellent long-term opportunities with a stable company that continues to grow.


This role will focus on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of construction and rental equipment including aerial lifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, loaders, mini excavators, skid steers, concrete saws, and more.


Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay targeted in the $25-$30/hour range depending on experience
• Annual bonus potential of $12K-$15K

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Work on a variety of compact and construction equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment in a shop environment
• Complete work orders and maintain service documentation
• Work closely with parts and service teams to keep equipment operating efficiently

• Skid steers
• Mini excavators
• Loaders
• Concrete saws
• Compact construction equipment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment, construction equipment, or diesel equipment
• Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills preferred
• Experience with aerial or compact equipment is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license
