Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, iron, and fold laundry for residents and facility linen

• Sort and prioritize laundry tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient operations

• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and safety

• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure seamless service delivery

• Use laundry equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any issues or malfunctions to management

Requirements

• Previous experience in a senior care or community-based organization is preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
