Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Based in Huntsville, AL, join HMD’s OTR solo dry-van operations that run nationwide lanes. Operate company-assigned tractors and work with a driver-focused dispatch and safety team to deliver freight reliably.

Core duties:

• Safely operate dry van equipment on long-haul and regional runs, following HOS and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and secure cargo integrity.
• Communicate with dispatch to manage routes, on-time deliveries, and paperwork.

Requirements & highlights:

• CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Pay starts at 65 CPM with average weeks around 2,500 miles plus safety/inspection/referral bonuses.
