Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 5+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility Recent critical care experience in both MICU and SICU Familiarity with lung protective ventilation Participation on Code Blue team Ability to make ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results Must have EPIC experience License: MA Respiratory Care license Certifications: RRT certification BLS NPS and/or ACCS preferred Must-Have: Identification, government issued with mailing address Description: This position requires a respiratory therapist to work in an inpatient setting. The role involves supporting critical care patients and working on a Code Blue team. Candidates must demonstrate recent critical care experience in both the MICU and SICU environments. Familiarity with lung protective ventilation methodologies is essential. The therapist will be responsible for making ventilator decisions informed by patient assessments and lab results. Epic experience is required for this position. Preferred qualifications include experience with Level III NICU and experience with Drager XL and v500 ventilators.
