Job Summary:
A Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves providing pre, intra, and post cardiac procedure care for various interventional procedures such as left and right heart catheters, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), lithotripsy, atherectomy, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemakers, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), cardioversion (CV), dobutamine stress echocardiography, conscious sedation administration, cardiac device implants, electrophysiology (EP) studies, and ablations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Maryland or compact state license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), a minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience in a cath lab setting, and appropriate certifications
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with two labsone for general cath procedures and device implants, and another for electrophysiology (EP) only, primarily on Tuesday, Thursday, and some Friday afternoons. Staffing typically includes 6-7 nurses for pre/post and intra-procedure care, along with 4-5 cath lab technicians. The role requires on-call availability within 30 minutes response time, with weekend on-call rotation every 4th weekend and varying weeknight on-call duties. The start date is scheduled for 07/19/2026.
