1st Shift - Aerospace / Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking dedicated Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a day shift position from 7 am to 3:30 pm at a military and defense facility in Santa Ana. This role offers competitive hourly pay with opportunities for overtime during the week and on Saturdays. The position involves mechanical and electrical assembly within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and/or electrical assemblies in a manufacturing setting.
• Utilize common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and specialized test equipment.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and follow detailed assembly instructions.
• Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams.
• Adapt to changing roles and responsibilities as required.
• Possibly work overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in aerospace, electronics, or medical industries.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as computer applications.
• Working knowledge of electrical components and the ability to read schematics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in mechanically assembling complex electro-mechanical assemblies and high-quality wire harnesses.
• Proficiency in hand soldering and component fabrication.
• Ability to perform validation and testing using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
• Familiarity with air-frame construction techniques and RF systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and writing detailed issue tickets.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
