Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed physical examinations and comprehensive histories.
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical patients using imaging studies and lab results.

• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, from prepping the operating room to positioning patients and managing instruments during procedures.
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, manage pain relief, execute wound care, and educate patients about their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with surgical rotations is highly desirable

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
