- Data Entry Clerk (2814)Main Location - BREWERTON, NY 13029## OverviewSalary Range$18.00 - $21.00 Hourly## Description**JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION:**The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in company systems. This role supports daily administrative operations by ensuring data accuracy, organizing records, and assisting with document management.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:*** Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company databases, spreadsheets, and systems* Review, verify, and correct data to ensure completeness and accuracy* Organize, scan, upload, and maintain electronic and physical records* Generate routine reports and provide information to internal stakeholders as needed* Support document management, recordkeeping, and administrative processes* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information* Communicate with team members to resolve data discrepancies and support workflow needs* Identify opportunities to improve data entry and recordkeeping processes* Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned**MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:*** High school diploma or equivalent required* Previous office, administrative, customer service, or data entry experience (preferred)* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook* Strong typing, data entry, and organizational skills* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines* Ability to work independently and as part of a team**WORKING CONDITIONS:*** Office-based work environment with frequent computer usage* Regular use of data management systems, spreadsheets, and business applications* Extended periods of sitting, typing, and computer work* Interaction with multiple departments to support administrative and operational needs
