We have a growing title insurance company with a branch in the Houston market that is looking to hire an experienced Bilingual Escrow Officer (Spanish) to join their growing operations. Pay Range $70,000- $75,000/yr. + lucrative bonus

Escrow Officer Job Responsibilities :

-The candidate will be responsible for bringing residential escrows to a close.
- Read closing instructions and balance file.
- Prepare documents for closing, recording, and issuing all checks.
-Contacts title companies, lenders, and customers with questions and issues to resolve.
-Responsible for receiving closing packages from notary signors.
-Review closing documents for accuracy and send out funding documents.
-Handles the complete disbursement and follow-up of all escrow transactions.
-Review the title to confirm that liens are released or that the appropriate documentation has been received.
-Prepares title policy and reviews recordings for accuracy and forwards the complete file to the County Recorder or internal Recording Department.

-Must have a high school diploma or equivalent-3+ years of title/escrow experience-Signing authority is a must

-Must be bilingual (Spanish)
-Excellent computer skills
-Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Ability to work well in a team environment-High-level multi-tasking and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
