Position Overview\nInner Strength Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time capacity. This position allows for flexibility with a remote working arrangement, providing an opportunity to deliver high-quality mental health services from the comfort of your own home while also having access to our outpatient office in Marlboro, New Jersey.

Work Environment\nThis full-time therapist position will allow you to work primarily from home, providing therapy to clients through virtual platforms while having the option to meet at our outpatient office in Marlboro when needed. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with individuals, as well as couples and families, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs. \n
- Document and maintain comprehensive notes of each session in compliance with confidentiality protocols and organizational standards using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, meeting regularly to discuss patient strategies and outcomes to foster a holistic treatment approach. \n
- Participate in training and professional development workshops to enhance your skills and stay updated with the latest practices in mental health. \n
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring immediate support for clients experiencing acute psychological distress. \n
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid New Jersey license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required. \n
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health services in a therapeutic setting. \n
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities to effectively communicate with clients and collaborate with team members. \n
- Comfortable using EHR systems for documentation and client management. \n
While not required, experience in specific modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. Familiarity with group therapy facilitation will also be beneficial.
