Bander Position

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Banders for a client in Itasca, IL. The Bander is responsible for sleeving and palletizing the customer mail (outbound) by zip code. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: 2nd: 4:30pm - 3:00am (M-F). Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Responsibilities of the Bander:

• Sleeve the trays and stages.
• Read/understand tray labels. (Tray Tags)
• Sort trays to destination pallets
• Ensure trays are placed in 2+4 and 4+2 alternating fashion.
• Ensure that trays are facing out with all tags visible.

Required Qualifications of the Bander:

• Ability to read small tags and identify numbers.
• Ability to lift/push/pull heavy trays up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and twist throughout shift.
• Ability to move quickly, address and multitask during the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and concentration.
• Effective team player.
• Experience preferred in mailing industry, conveyer factories, warehouse, and shift work.
• Ability to work at a fast pace.
