Business Services Manager

Overview

The Business Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative, operational, and financial functions of the organization. This role serves as a key support partner to leadership by managing non-clinical operations, staff coordination, compliance processes, and financial administration while ensuring efficient business operations across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily administrative and business operations to ensure organizational efficiency and compliance
  • Support financial processes including budgeting, invoicing, reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting functions
  • Assist with healthcare billing operations, reimbursement processes, and vendor management
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and applicable healthcare standards
  • Coordinate office operations, scheduling, records management, and operational workflows
  • Provide administrative support to executive leadership and assist with special projects and strategic initiatives
  • Supervise and support administrative and non-clinical staff as needed
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation across multiple systems and platforms
  • Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and community partners to support operational goals
  • Promote a positive, mission-driven environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • 2–5 years of administrative, office management, healthcare operations, or business management experience preferred
  • Experience within healthcare, managed care, nonprofit, senior services, or related environments strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, billing, and reimbursement processes preferred
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and healthcare compliance standards preferred
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHR), accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt within a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, compassionate, and service-oriented communication style

Preferred Experience

  • PACE or healthcare program experience
  • Managed care or healthcare finance exposure
  • Experience supporting elderly or medically vulnerable populations
  • Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems including home health, hospice, long-term care, or social services
