Overview
The Business Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative, operational, and financial functions of the organization. This role serves as a key support partner to leadership by managing non-clinical operations, staff coordination, compliance processes, and financial administration while ensuring efficient business operations across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative and business operations to ensure organizational efficiency and compliance
- Support financial processes including budgeting, invoicing, reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting functions
- Assist with healthcare billing operations, reimbursement processes, and vendor management
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and applicable healthcare standards
- Coordinate office operations, scheduling, records management, and operational workflows
- Provide administrative support to executive leadership and assist with special projects and strategic initiatives
- Supervise and support administrative and non-clinical staff as needed
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation across multiple systems and platforms
- Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and community partners to support operational goals
- Promote a positive, mission-driven environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
- 2–5 years of administrative, office management, healthcare operations, or business management experience preferred
- Experience within healthcare, managed care, nonprofit, senior services, or related environments strongly preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, billing, and reimbursement processes preferred
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and healthcare compliance standards preferred
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHR), accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt within a fast-paced environment
- Professional, compassionate, and service-oriented communication style
Preferred Experience
- PACE or healthcare program experience
- Managed care or healthcare finance exposure
- Experience supporting elderly or medically vulnerable populations
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems including home health, hospice, long-term care, or social services
