Senior Policy Analyst

Organizational Location This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Policy, in Washington, District of Columbia. Qualifications To qualify for the GS-14 grade level, you must possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Conducts research to support guidance materials of administrative law, immigration procedures, and/or law enforcement operations; Independently drafts immigration and/or law enforcement operations policy documents with minimal supervision; Providing advice and technical guidance on policy implementation related to immigration procedures and/or law enforcement policy. National Service Experience Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
