Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient oncology nursing care with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Administer and monitor oncology-specific treatments and interventions in accordance with unit protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for oncology patients
• Float within specialty or to lower-acuity units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Adhere to holiday and scheduling requirements as assigned, including rotating holidays as they fall

Required Qualifications

• Active MD RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient oncology nursing experience
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• NIHSS certification (required)
• Willingness and ability to float within scope with no restrictions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
• Chemotherapy administration certification
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version accepted)
