Lead Principal Technical Program Manager

The ideal candidate combines strong program leadership, technical depth in cloud infrastructure, and the ability to translate evolving business and engineering needs into scalable learning, readiness, and operational programs. They will work across engineering, operations, product, and leadership teams to define strategy, drive execution, measure adoption and effectiveness, and remove barriers to delivery.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, design, rollout, and continuous improvement of AI training and technical enablement programs across OCI.
• Assess AI readiness, skill gaps, and training needs across technical teams; translate findings into prioritized, scalable learning plans.
• Partner with engineering, product, operations, and subject-matter experts to develop role-based technical training, hands-on learning, and readiness materials.
• Define program scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, timelines, budgets, and resource needs.
• Establish success measures—including adoption, completion, proficiency, operational readiness, and business-impact metrics—and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
• Create mechanisms to gather learner and stakeholder feedback, evaluate training effectiveness, and rapidly iterate program content and delivery.
• Drive alignment across OCI organizations to standardize AI learning pathways, communications, documentation, and readiness expectations.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, remove blockers, and make strategic trade-offs across business and technical priorities.
• Lead stakeholder communications, program reviews, status meetings, and executive updates.
• Ensure training programs appropriately reflect security, compliance, accessibility, quality, reliability, and operational requirements for cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams without direct people management.
• Drive change management and adoption as OCI teams incorporate new AI capabilities, tools, and operating practices.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading complex technical or engineering programs.
• 10+ years of program and project management experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure buildouts, cloud operations, or related technical infrastructure programs.
• Demonstrated experience designing, scaling, or leading technical training, enablement, readiness, or organizational-adoption programs.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively—both verbally and in writing—with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated ownership of cross-functional, cross-organization programs from strategy through execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML platforms, services, infrastructure, or technical enablement.
• Experience with cloud services and infrastructure, including datacenter, networking, and operational environments.
• Experience using data and feedback mechanisms to measure learning outcomes, adoption, and program effectiveness.
• Self-directed problem solver with strong ownership and sound judgment.
• Comfortable succeeding in fast-paced, ambiguous, and customer-focused environments.
• Highly analytical and technically capable, with the ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and software.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $116,600 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
