Registered Respiratory Therapist

$1958.40/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care in a busy emergency department. This 13-week assignment requires flexibility, clinical expertise, and the ability to treat patients across all age groups, primarily adult and geriatric. Responsibilities: Evaluate and monitor patients’ respiratory status, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Administer respiratory therapies and procedures in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and clinical findings accurately. Comply with infection control procedures, including COVID patient care protocols. Maintain proper certification and licensure requirements throughout the assignment. Qualifications: Hold a MO State RRT license and NBRC CRT certification. Possess BLS certification; additional certifications preferred. Demonstrate experience in emergency department settings, with Allscripts/Sunrise experience preferred. Willing to work 3x12 day shifts (6:00 am – 6:00 pm) with every other weekend. Be able to care for patients of all ages, especially adults and geriatrics.
