Travel Therapy - Physical Therapist

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Hickory, North Carolina. Physical Therapist – Discipline: Therapy – Shift: 8 hours, days – Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities Perform evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee & supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines and facility policies. Comply with the respective PT Board rules and regulations and respective state requirements. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care. Understand and utilize adaptive equipment. Use Medical Center computer systems in the performance of daily tasks. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Must have the physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
