Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging specialists delivering outstanding patient care. You will work with cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct a variety of diagnostic scans, cooperating closely with a nurturing team of healthcare providers and delivering timely, high-quality imaging to assist in patient treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear explanations and compassionate care
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic images are produced
• Maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep current with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education and Credentials

• Possession of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Necessary

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
