St. Charles Campus Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Rn

Located in Port Jefferson, the St. Charles Campus of Good Samaritan University Hospital combines advanced clinical expertise with a longstanding commitment to compassionate care. St. Charles Campus's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary ICU and Stroke Unit. The unit is a general ICU that includes critically ill cardiac, respiratory, septic, neurological, surgical, neurosurgical, orthopedic, and gynecology patients.

Our Icu Rns:

• Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for highly acute and critical patients, including critical patients coming post-surgery.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

Qualifications:

• Passion for Critical Care Nursing
• 1+ Years Critical Care RN experience required
• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required or currently enrolled in a BSN program
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required

Posted Salary Range

USD $63.56 - USD $63.56 /Hr.
