POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the VP, Analytics, the successful candidate will be responsible for creation and updating of Argus models and producing internal and external statistical reporting for RioCan’s portfolio. In addition, this position will provide support for everyday functions required to manage RioCan’s portfolio of assets. RESPONSIBILITIES Testing, creation and maintenance of Argus models Production of statistical reporting material for RioCan’s portfolio for internal and external reporting purposes (including reporting required for the weekly Executive Meeting, quarterly Management Discussion & Analysis, Annual Report, Annual Information Form and Annual Executive Offsite Meetings) Maintain and generate records of reports as required for various departments from the portfolio database Perform financial analysis Analyze and review leases Create presentations Liaise and support Asset Management, Leasing, Operations, Development, Construction, Acquisition and Finance teams Development of enhanced statistical reporting and implementation of other new analytics technology Other duties / projects as required QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS University degree in Business, Finance or Real Estate Strong technology skills; knowledge of Yardi, Argus and Power BI is a definite asset 1 – 3 years of experience in the retail real estate sector Strong analytical and problem solving skillsProficient in Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook Ability to handle a fast paced environment that demands a high degree of accuracy; strong organizational and time management skills are essential Proven team player Excellent written and verbal communication skills $67,500 - $93,000 a year The base salary range for this role reflects compensation for candidates at varying levels of experience and proficiency. The salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant competencies, including skills, experience, education, and our teams’ requirements.
