Clerk and Food Service Helper Type: School District Salary/Pay Rate: $18.95/hour Posted Date: 05/27/2026 4:42 PM The Nanuet Union Free School District is seeking a candidate to work in our Food Services Department. Job Description This role involves general clerical work such as ordering, recording, tabulating or processing materials that are repetitive and routine. It also includes routine manual tasks like preparing food, serving food and cleaning work areas. Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with prescribed procedures and may involve related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma. NOTE: Academic, technical or vocational training or clerical experience may be substituted for schooling on a year-for-year basis.
