Cashier Job Description We are looking for a qualified and responsible cashier to manage all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately. A good job candidate knows their way around a cash register and can easily operate it together with a product scanner. They should be able to interact with customers in a friendly manner, provide assistance when needed, and ensure every customer leaves satisfied. Responsibilities Greeting customers upon entry and exit Managing transactions using a cash register, ensuring pricing accuracy Balancing the cash register at the end of each shift Scanning goods and verifying pricing and quantities Accepting payments (cash, credit, or check), providing change and receipts Issuing coupons, vouchers, stamps, and gift cards Processing returns and refunds, resolving customer complaints effectively Bagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transport Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience with POS systems and cash registers Basic computer knowledge Strong math skills Excellent communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Workstream
