Behavioral Health Solutions -Seattle, WA, United States Summary: Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (or equivalent license) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide psychological services to individuals in Skilled Nursing Facilities, addressing a wide range of psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and development of behavioral care plans for residents across the Greater Seattle Metro and Rural Washington areas. Key Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic evaluations, provide diagnoses, and deliver psychotherapy and treatment planning, both in‑person and remotely via company‑provided Telehealth software. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records of treatment plans, interventions, and progress reports using our EMR system, Athena I. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, psychiatrists, and therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care. Partner with Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) to implement the Expanded Behavior Supports (EBS) program for authorized Medicaid patients and residents. Educate clients and their families on psychological issues, offering counseling and support to manage disorders. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, local, and applicable state board requirements, provisions, and laws pertaining to clinical practices. Adhere to all applicable company policies, practices, and procedures to maintain compliance with organizational standards. Job Type: Full‑time, W2. Travel to assigned nursing facilities is required for this position. Requirements: Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing mental health counseling or therapy, preferably in a clinical setting. Current, active unrestricted licensure or certification as a psychologist or mental health professional in the state of practice (e.g., LCSW). Additional certifications or specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities or populations served are desirable. National Provider Identifier (NPI). Credentialing with Medicaid/Medicare is a plus. Skills: Clinical Leadership: Ability to guide and support patients through comprehensive behavioral health care plans, ensuring high standards of mental health services. Clinical Expertise: Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations, formulating treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs. Critical Thinking: Excellent clinical judgment and problem‑solving skills to address complex mental health issues within a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Cultural Sensitivity: Deep understanding of cultural diversity, providing care that honors and respects each patient’s values, beliefs, and backgrounds. Use of Technology: Proficient in EMR/EHR systems, particularly Athena I; skilled in basic computer applications and telehealth software. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions including strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness. Adaptability: Ability to work effectively under pressure, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in a dynamic healthcare environment. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships and collaboration with patients, colleagues, interdisciplinary teams, and facility staff.
