Registered Nurse II - CSSU

Job Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. $30,000 Sign on Bonus Minimum Training and Education Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Licensure, Certifications, Registrations Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors (temperature extremes), elevated areas, confined/cramped spaces, kneeling, bending, twisting, squatting, pinching, gross and fine motor activities, reaching overhead, repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders, use of legs and balance, reach in all directions, lift and carry 50 lbs unassisted, lift/lower 50 lbs from floor to 36 inches, lift 36" to overhead 25 lbs, exert up to 50 lbs of force, maintain vision within specified ranges, hearing acuity, handle stressful situations, work rotating shifts, overtime, latex safe environment, maintain tactile sensory functions, (selected positions): good olfactory sensory function, qualified for respirator use.
