Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and assist the surgical team during procedures as the circulating nurse
• Track and manage instruments, implants, and supplies; ensure correct counts prior to wound closure
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively, coordinate with anesthesia providers, and document intraoperative events
• Prepare the OR, position and drape the patient, and assist with intraoperative positioning adjustments
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, scrub techs, and perioperative personnel to support patient safety and efficient case flow
• Complete necessary intraoperative documentation and assist with post-procedure turnover

Requirements

• Active RN license in California
• OR circulating nurse experience in the operating room
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Willingness to commit to an 8-week travel assignment
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to pass standard health and background checks
