Senior Software Engineer (Applied AI)

Responsibilities

• Apply existing agents and frontier models across worker, business, operations, and marketplace applications.
• Lead frontend and backend development while mentoring other engineers.
• Architect and build real-time matching, autonomous vetting pipelines, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Own product surfaces end to end in partnership with product and design.
• Partner with the CTO on architecture and roadmap and build platform capabilities used across the company.

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined frontend and backend development experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js or Python.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or agents into real products, including prompting, tool wiring, and evaluations.
• Track record of shipping scalable, performant products in fast-moving, ambiguous, early-stage environments.
• Ability to work across API design, user experience, and deployment infrastructure.
