\n This role can be filled as a Dry Cask Storage Specialist (XOEF): Expected salary range of $102,000-114,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).\n

\n This role can be filled as a Sr Dry Cask Storage Specialist (XOEH): Expected salary range of $124,200 to $138,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).\n

\n

Primary Purpose of Position

\n

This position provides fleet wide support for the functional area of Outage Management. Responsible for Governance and Oversight (G&O) of the dry cask storage (DCS) program processes/products such as the development of detailed plans / schedules for spent fuel loading campaigns (SFLC), As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) practices, Technical Specification compliance, and DCS procedure development. Supports assessments on the implementation of the DCS program and processes including observations made during the execution of the campaign. G&O not limited to Outage Management but also crosses all organizational boundaries working with station departments and designated team leaders for SFLC preparation and execution. Review vendor performance trends and drives corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement. Solicits best practices internally and externally to improve organizational effectiveness. Supports the Dry Cask Storage Program Managers with peer team and business plan initiatives.

\n This is an onsite position that can be based at our LaSalle, IL or Dresden, IL CEC's . Candidates must be able to work onsite at one of these locations as part of the role requirements.\n

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

\n

 

\n

\n
• Responsible for supporting the Governance and Oversight (G&O) of DCS program process/products such as the development of detailed plans / schedules for spent fuel loading campaigns, ALARA practices, Technical Specification compliance, and DCS procedure development.
\n
• Supporting with oversight to ensure the station's DCS loading plan and schedule is executed in accordance with Technical Specifications and in compliance with station procedures, processes and goals.
\n
• Provides support for the campaign planning and schedule preparation and execution.
\n
• Supports assessments on the implementation of the DCS program and processes including observations made during the execution of the campaign.
\n
• Solicits best practices internally and externally to improve organizational effectiveness. Reviews Constellation fleet DCS lessons learned attends industry meetings and working groups such as Holtec Users Group (HUG), Technical Nuclear Users Group (TNUG), and Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) Spent Fuel Working Group and reviews industry operating experience (OPEX) to identify best practices to support implementation.

• Must be willing to travel 0-25% of time may be at another Constellation Clean Energy Center (CEC).
\n
• All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)

\n Minimum Qualifications Dry Cask Storage Specialist: \n

\n

\n
• Bachelor&rsquos degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, construction, computer science, mathematics, or physics) with 2 years of related experience OR
\n
• Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 2 years of related experience OR
\n
• Associate&rsquos degree in a technical discipline with 4 years of related experience or 2 years of Constellation Reactor Services experience OR
\n
• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of related experience or 4 years of Constellation Reactor Services experience
\n
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
\n

\n

\n Minimum Qualifications Sr Dry Cask Storage Specialist: \n

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, construction, computer science, mathematics, or physics) with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years of Dry Cask Storage related or Constellation Reactor Services experience OR
\n
• Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years of Dry Cask Storage related or Constellation Reactor Services experience OR
\n
• Associate's degree in business or a technical discipline with 7 years of industry experience or 5 years of Dry Cask Storage related or Constellation Reactor Services experience OR
\n
• High school diploma/GED with 9 years of industry experience or 7 years of Dry Cask Storage related or Constellation Reactor Services experience
\n
• Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Dry Cask Storage, Radiation Protection or Nuclear Operations experience highly preferred.
\n
• Fuel Handling, Welding, Purchasing, Planning, Scheduling Experience a plus.

• P6 or Asset Suite knowledge
