Who We Are Joseph Spierer Architects, Inc. is a client-focused firm specializing in custom single-family residential architecture. Based in Redondo Beach, the studio works on projects throughout the greater Los Angeles area. We approach each project with a strong understanding of site, client vision, and lifestyle, creating homes that are practical, elegant, and highly personalized. Our work is rooted in intentional design and thoughtful execution. Designers are encouraged to contribute creatively while taking ownership of their work throughout the design process. Who You Are This is a full-time, on-site position for an Architectural Designer based in Redondo Beach, CA. Candidates should be capable of both creative design thinking and the technical development of projects from concept through completion. Qualifications Professional degree from an accredited architecture program 7–12+ years of architectural experience Experience navigating the plan check process Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (required); Photoshop a plus Solid detailing knowledge and experience coordinating with consultants and building departments Working knowledge of California building codes and residential construction practices Understanding of site planning and design principles Strong design sensibility with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and lead aspects of projects when needed Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Compensation & Benefits Salary commensurate with talent, experience, and skill Health insurance Paid time-off #J-18808-Ljbffr Archinect
