Company :Allegheny Health NetworkJob Description :GENERAL OVERVIEW:Analyzes and interrogates pacemakers, ICDs and implantable loop recorders across the cardiology practices. Supports the telemonitoring program by reviewing the data and maintaining software application.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of pacer equipment. (20%)Analyzes and re-programs all pacemakers with various programs. (20%)Performs independent quarterly transtelephonic pacemaker checks. (15%)Is responsible for all data through software application (15%)Reprograms devices as ordered by the physician. (10%)Maintains follow up appointments for pacemaker and ICD patients. (10%)Conducts family and patient education on care of pacemaker/ICD's. (5%)Performs EKGs as needed.
