Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

$3230.00/week - Job Summary: Provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and effective treatment throughout diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Responsibilities: Assess patients' conditions and readiness for cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology procedures. Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including pre-operative assessments and education. Support and assist in conducting invasive cardiac procedures with adherence to safety protocols. Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly. Demonstrate professionalism by following facility policies, maintaining confidentiality, and engaging in ongoing professional development. Ensure patient safety by following universal protocols, identifying patients with two identifiers, and utilizing proper transfer techniques. Qualifications: Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 2 years critical care experience. Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, with Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac procedures, equipment, and patient management in a specialized setting.
