Parts Clerk

Transdev in Bel Air, MD is hiring a Parts Clerk for the Harford County Government contract. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Key Responsibilities Receive and stock parts Provide counter service Deliver parts to technicians Clean and organize shelves, bins, racks, etc. Lookup parts bin locations in database Maintain a clean and orderly parts facility. Manage cores and parts returns Assist in parking vehicles Assist in removing trash, used tires, and used oil filters Sweeping of floors in parts room and shop The above duties are not meant to restrict initiative but rather to define minimum activities. These duties may be altered to suit the needs of the company as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. Physical Requirements The essential functions of this position require the ability to: Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces Push and pull objects up to 65 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
