About the Position: Entry-level work in which employees are responsible for a warehouse, canteen, commissary, storeroom, or gift shop involving the receipt, storage, distribution, acquisition, and/or selling of inventory. Positions at this level are responsible for routine storekeeping duties including receiving and unpacking inventory items, verifying quality and quantity, and referring decisions regarding non- conformance with specifications to higher level staff. Position may be responsible for listing, pulling, packaging, and delivering goods.1. Deliver patient building and support department supplies to the scheduled buildings daily. Time may vary according to how many supplies that are scheduled to be delivered on certain days ranging from 2 hours to 3.2. Responsible for receiving incoming shipments and equipment from various freights, as well as regular deliveries, such as Ups and Fed Ex. And they are also required to bring all receiving problems and damages to the attention of the warehouse manager.3. Responsible for stocking and rotating all inventory items in the designated area within an assigned time frame and according to policies and procedures.4. Responsible for obtaining signatures on delivery documents and filing them in the designated location.5. In the afternoon Associates are responsible for pulling and preparing the orders received from the office staff for the next workday delivery.6. One or two associates are required to do mail run, depending on the number of items that need to be delivered. This is done when items are received from incoming deliveries and are written up. Supplies/Equipment items are then delivered to the assigned persons or buildings that it is addressed to.7. The remaining clerks are to proceed with filling orders and or walk-ins. When orders are complete warehouse clerks double-check the orders for accuracy and confirm with signature.8. Associates are also responsible for the housekeeping of the warehouse, such as sweeping, mopping throwing out trash and stocking/cleaning the restrooms. And required if needed to keep dock and lot clean of particles that could damage vehicle tires and equipment.9. Responsible for checking dates on medical items on a regular basis to determine if the solutions or products or out of date. Out-of-date items are reported to the Purchasing Chief or supply area manager so proper disposition actions can be taken.10. One Clerk is assigned to take delivery trucks to the auto shop once a month to receive or to check the required or requested maintenance as needed.
