Radiologic Technologist II

Hourly Pay Range $28.00 - $43.40 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Sign on Bonus: $10,000 Position: Radiologic Technologist II Location: Glenbrook Hospital Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 40 hours Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm M-F and every other Saturday On Call: Yes Required Travel: N/A What You Will Do Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort Perform radiographic exams Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner Consistently works independently and operates all equipment with minimal assistance to performance procedures Check supplies/stocks room and maintains general cleanliness in department Assists in printing films and retrieval of reports May be required to work at other NorthShore off-site facilities to accommodate internal/external customers past schedules hours Reports environmental/equipment problems to appropriate resource personnel What You Will Need Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program License: IEMA licensing required Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registry eligible required. Experience: Previous radiology experience required.
